Can not select FSUIPC from "Interface" options

Help!

I run both Xplane 10 and FSX (thinking about moving to P3D).

I have FSRealWX Pro setup and working beautifully in Xplane 10, and this tool really helps with Xplanes serious lacking in winds aloft data.

However, when I go to the Interface tab on FSRealWX Pro, I can not change the selection from "Client/Server" to FSUIPC (which I have installed and working in FSX.) The dropdowns for SImconnect and FSUIPC are all greyed out and will not let me select them. I have configured the path to FSX.

What am I doing wrong?

Win7 X64 running free version of FSUIPC and 2.01.221 RC2

Please install FSX version.(SimConnect) and you can select all interface types.

Thanks for the fast response.

Im now confused. SImConnect installs with FSX.. FSUIPC is working in the sim (which requires SimConnect to use it.)

How does your software look for SimConnect, as it apparently can not find it on my machine.

Yep! Like I said, other apps using SimConnect see it.

Anything I can do to help troubleshoot?
